Extract from Gospel for the 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time

They went as far as Capernaum, and as soon as the sabbath came Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.  And his teaching made a deep impression on them because unlike the scribes, he taught them with authority.

Catholic Education Week

Catholic Education Week will be celebrated in schools and parishes from Sunday 12th to Saturday 18th February 2012.

This year's theme is 'This Is Our Faith'.

Blessing of Candles

All the candles used in the Church during the year will be blessed during Mass on Thurs., 2nd Feb. ‘Blessing of the Throats’ will take place at Mass on Friday, 3rd February.

Burns Night

A Burns Night will be held on Friday, 3rd Feb. at 7:30pm in the crypt.  Tickets £10. There will be food and entertainment but BYOB.

World Day of the Sick

This will be held on Saturday, 11th February (Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes).  Click here to read the Pope’s message for World Day of the Sick.

Family Breakfast

A One World Breakfast will be held on Sun. 12th Feb. in the crypt.  All proceeds for Mary’s Meals.
