Novena Prayer to St.Margaret
Novena cards detailing the life of St. Margaret and the history of her Relic are now available for sale from the Church shop. The card also contains a Novena Prayer to St. Margaret and another Prayer. Matching bookmarks are also available.
Be considerate and careful when parking in the Church car park as space is at a premium. Two disabled spaces are available at the front of the Church for blue badge holders. Double yellow lines are now displayed on the uphill entrance driveway to the Church. Please do not park here or block the gate as emergency service vehicles do require access if called. This situation is more acute when there is a funeral or wedding taking place at the Church.

translations from the original Latin of the Roman Missal should have a stricter adherence to the Latin, both in the words and the structure of the prayers. This means that some of the words we are familiar with in the present English Mass will change. The changes will be introduced gradually between September and the First Sunday of Advent when the new Missal will come fully into use. Visit the Roman Missal website for more details.
The Parish Shop
The shop at the back of the Church has restocked with a large selection of prayer material, novena, stations of the cross, and cards for all occasions. Christmas cards, calendars, new missals, prayer books, and children’s books are also now all available to buy from the Church shop. Stop by and browse.
Stamps for the Missions
At this time of year especially, please support the Missions by depositing used stamps in the bag provided in the Church porch. As you remove stamps from envelopes, please leave some paper surrounding them.
Mens Group
A successful first meeting of the Mens Group was held on Thurs. 8th Dec. at 7:30pm in the Crypt. The first event being planned in 2012 is a wine tasting evening on 12th Jan, in the crypt. A Burns Night is also planned. More details to follow. If you are interested in joining, contact Tom Reid or Ian Little.
