Annual General Meeting

Minutes of the Parish Pastoral Council Meeting held 30th June 2010

A meeting was held on 30 June 2010.  11 members attended.

The Treasurer reported a balance of £2041.86.  There were no reports from the Liturgy Group or the Social Convenor.

Gift Aid has now 212 members.  Revenue to the Parish from this scheme is substantial and more members would be appreciated.

Deanery Pastoral Council The agenda at these meetings seems too wide.  There were 14 points to consider at the last

meeting with no conclusions reached.  Matters discussed included child abuse and the New Missal.

Ladies Group  A timetable has been set out for the year with the usual groups, which are running smoothly.  Future events to be advertised on the Notice Board.

AOCB  A Christmas Fayre is being organised and will be held in December.


Minutes of the Parish Pastoral Council Meeting held 28th March 2011

A meeting was held on 28 March 2011.  12 members attended


The Treasurer reported a balance of £1902.99.


Liturgy  Easter Services all arranged. Reconciliation Service this year is on Thursday 14 April and Vigil Mass is at 8.30pm


200 Club Membership now stands at 197.  Cheque this year for £3500 presented to the Church.


Gift Aid has approximately 200 members.  Revenue to the Parish from this scheme is substantial and more members would be appreciated.


Deanery Pastoral Council Next meeting not till April but a reminder was given of the Deanery Quiz night on 6 May.

Ladies Group  Another successful year with the various groups still meeting on a regular basis.

Social Committee Thanks to the howling success of the St Patrick’s Night a cheque for £1000 was raised. Next event will be a visit to either a Chinese or an Indian restaurant.


AOCB  Parking bays will be marked around the grounds with a special bay for the Parish Priest.


Next meeting will be the AGM on 9 May at 7.30 pm in the Crypt.
